Salzburg Milch: Iconic diary
Concept development, Art direction
One of Austrias biggest dairy producers offers high quality milk from a collective of family driven farms. The treatment and wellbeing of the animals is what makes SalzburgMilch premium. The task was to create a clear differentiation in an otherwise homogenous, traditional marketplace, while visualising SalzburgMilch’s love for nature and animals. The packaging design for the "Premium" range is clearly rooted in the "Almabtrieb" (cattle drive), a spectacle where cows are colourfully decorated to celebrate an accident-free summer on the Alps. An abstract pattern with a decorated cow and calf together with characteristic alpine flowers offer a rich and playful identity that enables flexible designs throughout the entire product range. The illustration work across the family of fruit yoghurts shows a lovely balance of quirk and bold seriousness, abstracting each fruit just enough that it feels expressive enough

IKEA FOOD: For the many people
Packaging concept, Art direction
Quality and design should be affordable for everybody. The democratic design principles, low price, form, function, quality and sustainability applies to everything IKEA does. No matter if it is selling furniture – or food. IKEA offers food from responsible and high quality sources that tastes great. And who does not love the world famous KÖTTBULLAR (meatballs), the crunchy KNÄCKEBRÖD (crisp bread) or the fruity GLÖGG (moulded wine).
IKEA’s products are famous for sometimes being impossible to pronounce outside of Sweden. The main challenge was to create a clear packaging design that instantly conveys the products. Three different design strategies reflect IKEA’s design principles and help to understand the content: transparency, photography and iconic graphics/simple illustrations. The taste of Sweden in millions of homes around the world.
